Driving Directions

RIFTEC GmbH is headquartered in the "GITZ" technology centre on the grounds of the Helmholtz-Zentrum Geesthacht (formerly GKSS Research Centre). It is located about 30 km southeast of Hamburg.
The closest airport is that of Hamburg-Fuhlsbüttel (HAM), to which the driving time is about 60 min. The closest major train station is Hamburg Central Station, to which the driving time is about 45 min.

The easiest way to reach us by car is via the A25 Hamburg – Geesthacht. At the end of the motorway, follow the B5 toward Lauenburg. Roughly 3 km after leaving Geesthacht, follow the signs toward Helmholtz-Zentrum Geesthacht / GITZ and turn right onto Max-Planck-Straße.

Please notice:
Most GPS will lead you the wrong way if you enter "Max-Planck-Strasse". So please use our driving directions or enter "Geesthacht / Gruener Jaeger". From there you follow the B5 toward Lauenburg for about 300 m, then you will reach Max-Planck-Strasse.
