Of course every company welcomes higher demand – however, higher demand also carries obligations: within the last two years, RIFTEC has also doubled, both in terms of its employees and its production capacity. The increase in respect of production is especially due to two new friction stir welding centres. The modern processing centres with four or five axes, state-of-the art process control and seam tracking, can not only handle more series orders in a shorter period but furthermore, they can also produce complex component geometries to the usual high quality. The first series have already been started on these machines.

At the same time we have also advanced further in matters of quality:

With a 3D-coordiante measuring machine and our own metallographical laboratory, the dimensional accuracy of welded components and the quality of weld seams can be assessed directly in-house. 

The paths are becoming shorter – and the required proof of quality is being delivered more quickly.
