For more than nine years now we have been playing a groundbreaking role in the industrial application of friction stir welding and friction spot welding.
We are setting standards with our pioneering technology. We concentrate in particular on the use of friction stir welding for a wide range of components made of aluminium and aluminium alloys.

As a young company we place a high value on always being up to date with the latest technology. Our emphasis on innovation has been recognized with a number of honours, including the Schmidt-Römhild Prize (2005), the KFW banking group’s award for entrepreneurs “Gründerchampions 2008” and the prize in the Network of Automotive Excellence’s 2008 Innovations Competition.
Additionally we took a leading role in the development of the new ISO standard for friction stir welding DIN ISO 25239.
